A Word On Life
Sometimes, little lessons about life come to us in the most unusual times and places…
While visiting a local vegan restaurant with my husband, this lovely chrysanthemum was sitting in the window near our table, illuminated by the golden rays of the sun beaming through the glass.
As I admired the flower’s stunning array of petals, I started to reflect on the immense beauty and brevity of life.
I recalled the poignant words I heard from a Sadhu:
Life is wherever you are, every moment.
It’s not the "tomorrow, I'll be happy, maybe in the future, after ten years, I'll be ok, I'll be great, I'll feel happy".
No.
This is the time...now.
If you don’t feel happy now, you'll never be happy.
NOW is the time.
Indeed, may we all learn to live joyfully and fully engaged and present in every moment that God has gifted us.
Tomorrow isn’t promised, all we have is this very moment.
Let’s make the most of everything in this life.
In your experience, what have you learned about life in general?
What is one important lesson that you’ve learned along the way?
What is the most important aspect of your life?
